These terms govern PAD Vehicle Health Plan subscriptions between you (the subscriber) and PAD Pontypridd Auto Diagnostics, a sole trader business operated by Alex Thomas, CF37 2HP, South Wales. By subscribing you agree to these terms in full.

Prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Travel fees apply on top of subscription for locations outside 10 miles of CF37 2HP, at the standard PAD travel rate. PAD reserves the right to amend subscription prices with 30 days' notice.
All Vehicle Health Plan subscriptions have a minimum commitment period of 3 months from the date of subscription. You may not cancel within the first 3 months except in the circumstances set out in clause 8.
The minimum commitment exists because included services (such as annual battery health checks) are provided at a significant discount relative to their standalone cost. Cancellation before the 3-month minimum period is complete will result in the full standalone price of any services already received being charged, minus payments already made, up to a maximum of the standard retail price of those services.
A Gold subscriber cancels after 1 month, having received one Aviloo battery health check (standalone value £79) and one diagnostic (standalone value £25). They have paid £29.99. The outstanding balance would be (£79 + £25) − £29.99 = £74.01, which would be charged on cancellation.
For Silver and Gold plans, the annual included health check is available from the start of month 2 of your subscription. The first included check will not be scheduled until your first full month's payment has cleared. This is to ensure the subscription is active and payment processing is functioning correctly.
Bronze subscribers may access priority booking from the moment their first payment is confirmed.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month on the anniversary of your sign-up date. Stripe handles all payment retries for failed payments — typically retrying after 3, 5, and 7 days. If payment cannot be collected after 3 attempts, your subscription will be paused and included services suspended until payment is resolved.
You can update your payment method at any time via the customer portal link sent to your registered email address.
Included annual health checks cover one vehicle per subscription. The check type matches the vehicle — EV Battery Health Check for battery electric vehicles, PHEV Battery Check for plug-in hybrids, or 12V Battery Check for conventional vehicles on Silver plans. Included checks must be used within the subscription year. Unused checks do not roll over and are not redeemable for cash.
Included services are subject to availability and must be booked through the normal PAD booking system. A travel fee applies for locations outside 10 miles of CF37 2HP, at the standard rate, even for included checks.
Subscriber discounts apply to additional services booked outside of included allowances, at the rate specified for your plan tier. Discounts are applied at the time of booking. Discounts cannot be combined with other promotional offers. PAD reserves the right to withdraw or amend discount rates with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
After the 3-month minimum commitment period, you may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal or by emailing contact@pontypridddiagnostics.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial month refunds are issued.
Exceptions to the 3-month minimum: cancellation without penalty is permitted if PAD is unable to provide the agreed services for 30 or more days due to circumstances within PAD's control, or if PAD materially changes the terms of your subscription without providing 30 days' notice.
PAD may suspend a subscription in the event of non-payment, misuse of the service, or if the subscriber provides false information. Subscribers may request a temporary pause (up to 2 months per 12-month period) by contacting PAD directly. Pauses extend the subscription term by the equivalent period.
PAD reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or replace subscription plans. Existing subscribers will receive 30 days' notice of material changes. If a change materially reduces the value of your plan, you may cancel without penalty during the notice period.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
