I Visit.
By allowing me to carry out the diagnostic scan, you agree to the following terms. These are straightforward — they simply make clear what the service is, and what it is not. If you have any questions before I arrive, please message me.
- 01This service provides an OBD2 diagnostic scan and a plain-English explanation of any fault codes found. It is not a mechanical repair service.
- 02Fault codes are a starting point for diagnosis. The same code can have multiple causes — further investigation by a qualified mechanic may be needed to confirm the root cause.
- 03I will not clear fault codes without your agreement, and only after recording all findings.
- 04I am not responsible for faults, warning lights, or issues that exist prior to or independently of the scan.
- 05Findings and recommendations are advisory only. You remain responsible for all decisions about repairs and roadworthiness.
- 06Payment is due at the time of the visit. We accept cash, credit/debit card, and bank transfer. No deposit is required to book.
By allowing the scan to proceed, you confirm you have read and understood the above. No signature is required — verbal agreement at the start of the appointment is sufficient.
