PAD is pre-launch and self-funded. Every donation goes directly into three buckets — no overheads, no salary, no marketing spend. Here's what you're actually funding:

Equipment

Specialist tools like a smoke machine (~£200), HV-rated battery load testers, cables and adapters for rarer EVs, and eventually a dedicated diagnostic workstation.

Qualifications

IMI Level 1 (in progress), IMI Level 2 electrical/hybrid, Aviloo advanced certification, and ATA accreditation. Professional qualifications that keep PAD credible.

Running costs

Insurance renewal, DVLA API fees, HPI check credits, website hosting, consumables. The boring but essential costs that keep a real business running.
